Marwa Abbas is the General Manager and Technology Leader of IBM Egypt.

Marwa joined IBM in March 1994 as an early professional and then as a Channel Sales Representative.

During her 25 years of service at IBM, She held several sales and leadership positions in Egypt and the Middle East & Africa (MEA) within the Personal Computing Division, ibm.com, General Business Unit, Business Partner Organization and Channel Marketing.

In 2013, she was assigned the mission of creating and launching the first MEA Digital Sales Center in Cairo and established the operation for the MEA Digital Sales Center servicing the MEA clients.

She is passionate about young talent and the ability to create and sustain a hub full of dynamic and diversified skills to service the MEA countries with a specific focus on the African continent.

Marwa holds a BSc. in Computer Science (1994) and a master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the American University in Cairo (1998).
