Under the patronage of HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force “Lekhwiya”, HE Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Faisal bin Mohammed Al Thani, Minister of State for Interior Affairs, witnessed today the signing of a Letter of Intent between the Ministry of Interior and IBM, a global leader in hybrid cloud, artificial intelligence, and digital services, in the presence of senior officials from both sides.

The Letter of Intent was signed on behalf of the Ministry of Interior by HE Major General Abdullah Mohammed Al Sowaidi, Assistant Undersecretary for Technical and Specialized Affairs, and in the presence of Jonathan Adashek, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Communications, IBM.

This signing comes as part of the Ministry’s efforts to strengthen cooperation with leading global technology companies in support of its vision to accelerate digital transformation, develop smart infrastructure, and enhance operational efficiency and technical readiness—ultimately contributing to national security and the improvement of security and digital service quality.
